You are so right. I personally don't like confrontation. I try to avoid it at all costs. I think when the attacks get personal the attention shifts from the topic being discussed to the individual(s) that are debating.

We all have our passions and our views. I too have to remind myself to step back and take a deep breath when discussing a subject I feel strongly about.

Thanks for bringing this up. I think it will make all of us think before we 'speak' and hopefully we won't lash out at one another.
