Belly bands are great if you have a stud who marks. I used them on Spike when he was a puppy and now at two years old, he still has to sleep in them and still has accidents in the house. I think it prevented him from learning how to hold it. I'm sure there are some success stories but I wish I hadn't done it. I didn't use them on Sugar and he uses potty pads with no problem and no accidents.

edit to clarify- my dogs are all neutered- I'm sure they are a lifesaver for who have un-nuetered males.
