I just ask my house guests to ignore Tina when they first come in. We don't acknowledge her until she is calm. She is 2 yrs old and still does the excitement piddle. But when people are purposely working her up, that's when it happens. It is always best to be calm around your dogs, anyway. Otherwise you run the risk of training them to be neurotic.
