Well, when I first got Milo and took him to my vet, she said that he would probably be about 6-7 lbs. Although, I really think she was wrong in her estimation, because he is almost 4 months old now and hasn't really grown much since I got him. Nevertheless, I fell in love him, so I'm keeping him no matter how big or small he gets to be.
I'm not really sure what Anne Marie's vet told her. I would assume something along the lines of what mine told me. I can certainly understand her frustration, considering she got a puppy thinking one thing and was told by an expert (her vet) another thing and realized that she may have been mislead. I can also understand her reasons for returning the puppy assuming that hey hadn't bonded yet and searching for what she had originally bargained for.
The illegitimate vet she's talking about would be the one that was recommended to her by the breeder (puppy mill operator). Although I don't think it's the same vet that this same individual also recommended to me, since Anne Marie told me that the vet who was recommended to her is in Montreal. However, neither one of us has been to these supposed illegitimate vets.
That's really all I know at this point. I feel bad for her thought because I don't even think she got her $1500 back. This man really needs to be put away for what he's doing.
