Fortunately, no one has been too cruel. Of course I won't breed him to just any dog. I certainly plan on showing him and getting his conformation. I am currently seeking a show mentor too, but have been going to shows and observing, doing lots of reading, and working with Edward on stacking and walking on a show lead. We are going to go through Evansville Obedience club for conformation classes very soon.
I probably shouldn't have posted that...and sort of regreted it after I did, as I wondered if it was allowed, but I figured, if you can sell dogs, why not the dog's services. I put no $$ or information, not even any pictures. I guess I am mostly looking to see who is even out there.
I would get my own girl to breed him to, but already have three dogs and don't think the rest of the family would go for it right now. I don't want to be a big-time breeder and don't want to offend those who are, I think I have just gotten lucky with this boy on being a good one think he will make good conforming Yorkies. He is probably not going to win Eukanuba or anything, but he is a good example, especially compared to some I've seen that are out there studding. He may only produce pet-quality, but at least they will be good, conforming pets that actually resemble the beauty that is the Yorkie breed. If he ends up showing well, I will of course become MUCH more restrictive on his mates. In the mean time, we are not in a big hurry, just sort of looking for what's out there, as I said before.
