Surely the show breeder is not going to be selling you a dog with full registration. I've never heard of a reputable show breeder selling their puppies to someone other than another show breeder with full registration.
So far as CKC - it depends which one you are talking about - there is the Canadian Kennel Club and the Continental Kennel Club. CanKC dogs can be AKC registered and vice versa with the right paperwork, but AKC will not recognize ConKC registration because it is not a reputable registry. The only reputable registries in the US are AKC and UKC. The ConKC has no conformation shows so therefor has no way of evaluating dogs against the written standard. Now, the ConKC will register the puppies...they'll register any dog off the street if you pay them to. They also recognize all the "designer" breeds out there...
