In order to get a parti colored pup, both parents have to carry the Parti gene. Carriers look like a traditional yorkie (sometimes they have white on their chest or paws and sometimes they don't).
Carrier bred to a standard = 25% of carrier pups (they carry the parti gene), 75% standard pups (they don't carry the gene)
Carrier bred to Carrier = 50% carrier pups, 25% standard pups, 25% parti pups
Parti bred to carrier = 50% carrier pups, 50% parti pups
Parti to parti = 100% parti pups
Parti to Standard = 100% carrier pups
These are all just averages.
Hope this helps
