My husband made it through the surgery OK. He is doing well. They removed his leg at mid thigh, so not much is left. they wanted to go where there was good blood flow to improve the chances of healing.
His heart was a major concern, but it did fine. He has some pain, of course, but not nearly as much as he was having before the surgery.
Now that the surgery is behind us we can start to move forward. He has a lot of hard work before he'll be strong enough to come home.
The Lord has given us the strength to make it this far, I think we can make it through the rest of it.
