 Lucy had a breakthrough :)
About 3 weeks ago in Puppy class we were teaching our dogs to do the "down" command, well Lucy wouldn't do it for anything and after three weeks of practicing she just wouldn't do it for me until Last night, it was like "click" the lightbulb went off and she followed the treat and went into a down...I was so excited...and she was too she was walking around the rest of the night with her head held high and her chest pushed out a little! I can't wait to go to class next week and show the trainer that she finally did it!
He told us this week that we might want to focus our energy teaching her something else because some dogs, toy breeds especially, just don't want to go into a down.
