Back in 2000, I had three foster dogs and one of them was shaking the rope toy (the rope that has a knot at both ends) very, very hard and got her in the eye. The Vet. sewed the third lid over the eye to see if it could be saved but it couldn't, so it was removed. Next she developed glaucoma in the left eye and was on two different medications for almost two years before it ulcerated and had to be removed.
