Make sure his crate is right by your bed. When my little guy would whine I'd just put my fingers in his cage and whisper to him so he would know I was still there. He was pretty good about quieting down that way. Puppies can cause a lot of sleepless nights but they are soooo worth it lol.
Thanks for the advice. He barks so much though, and it kills me to hear him whine. He is fine some nights. I hope I haven't sspoiled him too much too soon!
