Hi everyone.. I just wanted to start a new thread.. since I now have a new puppy on the soon to pick up list.. The breeder was going to let me pick her up tomorrow.. but she just had her first needle on Monday and she finished her last deworming on Tuesday. The thing is that she has some loose stool and the breeder wants to wait until she see's a solid stool before letting her go. Is it normal for them to have loose stool after needle and deworming ? Do you think she will be okay for me to bring her home when her stool is back to normal ? She weights 2 lbs 4 ozs.. will be 8 wks old next Tuesday. So just 2-3 days before she is 8 wks.. I got Hannah around 9 wks.. she is 9 months old now and I have never seen a loose stool with her at all.
The breeder says that she just has an upset tummy and may be a little stressed from the needle and deworming med. Do you all think that if I wait till even Saturday it would be better ?
