I think the picture of her at 38 is an old picture(I'm guessing she's older than that now). I know a YT member has purchased from her before and been happy. I think the price is a personal thing. I know my dad would never pay thousands for any dog, me on the other hand believe the right dog is worth whatever I can come up with(even her price range if it's what I want). My dogs have lived 12-15 years, I've never had a car last that long! A yorkie is so much better than a car(and I love my little car).
Anyway, size wise...a breeder with experience knows their dogs and what size can deliver. Small people can still have babies so can small dogs, it just has to be the right genes. That's what you're really paying for, a breeder who knows what the heck they're doing. If the breeder has a c-section, most will have the female fixed. I believe the term for a dog that can deliver naturally is called a free whelper?
The only problem I have with her site is that the pictures are old, hardly ever updated and I've seen the same dog advertised twice as different puppies. That doesn't impress me. Her dogs are cute though. |
