I understand that it's a very difficult process, I just wish it wasn't AS difficult as it is.
I have a friend that didn't make himself a citizen and he's getting deported next month because he has a felony on his record from years ago. New laws do haunt your past and hold it against you. I feel for him, because he's lived here since he was less than a year young and knows NO ONE back "home".
He knows it's inevitable, and his biggest concern? Yeah....his dogs.
