I've heard so many stories about paypal which is why we don't even use them as a payment option. Sounds fishy with that customer. If she really was having paypal issues, she'd say let me take care of it and send you a payment via an alternate route immediately. At least that's what I would do.

Call Paypal....they make it real hard to find their phone number on their website. I called them in the past and they were just very difficult to deal with and basically told me they couldn't help with my situation but hopefully you would have better luck. Plus, isn't there some sort of seller protection guarantee they have? I always mail out ALL items with shipping confirmation, worth the extra fees.

I'm curious to know if the customer retracted payment with their cc: I know with merchant accounts, if a customer makes a complaint, the cc company will deduct that fee from your bank but send you a letter and if you have proof it was sent, then you can dispute it and in essence that is what paypal is doing, acting as a 3rd party merchant account.

Good luck on this. This sucks when a customer rips you off if that is indeed the case.
