Default Hi Everyone - Some Exciting News.

Hi everyone. I've been kind of missing in action and wanted to say thank you to everyone for their support when we lost our Newman. I know some of you sent donations in for a memorial stone for my baby. I'm not sure who you all were that did that but from the bottom of my heart I wanted to say Thank you. I had asked that rather then a memorial stone (We had Newman cremated and brought home) that the $$ be donated to a Yorkie Rescue and that is what was done so thank you all again.

Tomorrow will be one month since we lost our boy and I still put a dish out for him and a cookie out for him. It just does not seem real to me. As some of you know I am losing my mom, so it's been especially hard on not only me but my two boys. My mom went into the hospital the day after we lost Newman and she's now in Hospice and does not have long. I've been spending every minute I can with her and because of this decided against getting another Yorkie right now however, God works in mysterious ways.

I found a little 4 month old girl that is in rescue. Originally they posted that she weighed 3 lbs. but the rescue called me and she is actually only 1.5 lbs. All my references checked out so I'm now just waiting on a home visit. Under the circumstances with my mom I NEVER would have considered another one but felt "What are the odds of this happening." She is spayed already, had all her shots etc. So I'm going with "If it's meant to be." Although, secretly I'm hoping it all works out and we get her

I'll keep everyone posted and thank you all again. Please, keep my mom in your prayers and pray she goes quickly and peacefully.

Sincerely,
Elaine
