Also, dirty ears or an ear infection or a poor quality diet can cause stinkiness.
3 baths a week is a lot, mine get 1 bath a week. Have you tried Buddy Wash? It really gets the stink out of mine. |
Beau gets food in his chin hair but I ususally pick that out while he is sleeping, just like it clean his eye boogers when he is sleeping. It could be from his LACK to tooth hygiene. He won't let me brush his teeth so every other year or so he gets his teeth done by the vet, but its so hard on him and he's getting older that I've been doing it less and less. The vet puts him out, so he's all groggy for the next day or day and a half. It sad to see him so lathargic and he throws up after.

I have an ear cleaner from the vet that I use when he gets his weekly bath. Yea, after 2 consecutive weeks of 3 baths, his skin started to get flakey and he wasn't smelling any better so I just gave up on that. It wasn't too good for his poor little skin or fur. I don't know what to do anymore...he's just like a teenage boy! Wash him all you want but it won't do you any good!
