My friend's baby golden retriever does this if you basically look at her, let alone touch her, call her name, etc. The vet said that she MIGHT grow out of it, but she is unsure. I would suggest putting puppy diapers on her when you go to class so she doesn't do this next time and if she does no one will know. I've seen puppy diapers at the pet store for dogs in heat, but at my training class a dog was wearing them because he kept trying to mark the female dogs. They seemed to work well, and the dog's owner would just take the diapers off right after they stepped out of the trainers. I can only imagine how mortified you must have felt!!!
