The male's behavior can change after they've been used for stud. Can, but not always. The problem is, you never know until it's too late. One of our males was very calm before he was used for stud. Afterwards, he would sit and whine and tremble. Sometimes he wouldn't eat, sometimes he'd throw up. He'd pace and wouldn't sit still. Mainly just when one of the females was in heat. But sometimes for no reason at all. He never had a problem w/ other dogs, but afterwards, he became very territorial over the girls and began showing some agression towards our 2nd male and began to mark in the house. As soon as we knew he'd sired his last litter, we had him nuetered. His behavior improved, but even without his 'parts' he still regresses sometimes and acts differently.
