I have a question for any of you that are breeders. We have two new babies (25 days old) We had three at first, but the first little girl who was the biggest and was doing good went to heaven after her tail docking. I was sick and did not pay attention to them that day. I believe she stopped nursing because of the pain and went hypoglycemic. Anyway, the other two - a boy who weighed 4 oz at birth and a girl who weighed 3.9 oz at birth - are doing fine.
My question is do they stop growing for a while? The little boy went from 4 oz to 22 oz on 1/28. He has been at that weight since then (today is the 2nd) and the little girl went from the 3.9 oz to 16.5 and had stayed there for the same amount of time. They are doing good - crawling around and not whining at all. I give them each a taste of nutrical morning & night and just today warmed up some canned Nutro puppy food to see what they would do. The boy still likes his titty
but the little girl licked at it a little. I am probably worrying for nothing but thought I would ask you guys. Thanks for any help.
