If paint peels it is because of two things: 1. moisture in the walls, or 2. painting over oil-based paint with water based (acrylic latex).
We never painted with anything other than a latex based paint. Honestly I think Behr is s**tty. You figure on brand new sheetrock that was primed with their primer I shouldn't have had any problems with the paint. Also when I did the kitchen the weather is cool and comfy. I think that it just sucks.
