And yes, the idea of using salt is great in case you don't find peroxide around

Another thing about poisoning, DO NOT indulce vomit if the pup ate poison (of any kind!) for longer than 5 min!!! It's because poison can be digested REALLY fast, and by indulcing vomit the pup can start having seizures!!!

In this case take him/her to a Vet ASAP!!!
