If you make changes be sure to keep them in a room where there are no hazards. We keep ours in the master bath with a gate in the door. (Make sure they can't get their little heads stuck in the gate though.) I keep some blankets on the floor so they can sleep on something warm. We have a vanity in the bath where a stool should go, but I put the end of a towel in the drawer and close it, letting the towel hand down and leaving a bedded area underneath for the puppies. They love it. Guess they think it's a den.
Anyway, good luck with your babies. And their are some good books on breeding that you ought to think about getting. The breeders forum here at YT is a good place to get good info. Just start reading thru the posts. |
