Try the breed rescues for any breed you would consider. The Westie rescue is very active in this area.. Sophies Isle of York rescue is another one to check. You will not find a healthy Yorkie in this area for the price you have mentioned. A rescue would be such a good choice..they so deserve loving homes and it sounds like you are someone who could give that. If you and your wife both work long hours a Yorkie might not be the best choice as they are social animals that need their humans with them a lot. Also, they can be hard to house-train and that could be an issue to be considered. |
