I am going in tomorrow to try one surgery for my two kidney stones. Mine are 2.5 cm and 2 cm in diameter. So there is no passing them, they have to be removed. Definately strain your pee so that the doc can check out the stones so they can find out how to avoid them in the future. I was told to drink lemonade and at least 10 8 oz glasses of water a day. I was just back in the er because of mine on sunday night. Hopefully yours are small and can just pass naturally. I am scared to death about my surgery tomorrow BUT will be very glad to have them gone.
