I'm sorry I have not updated everyone in a while - I had been feeding Shayley's little girl as she would not nurse from Shayley after she was 2 days old. I was feeding every hour, from a dropper as she would not suckle the bottle, in the beginning and then went to every two hours. She finally started to put on weight on Saturday and I was very hopeful that all would be alright but she did not make it through Sunday. Sunday was a very sad & hard day for me & Shayley as I was really starting to bond with this little one. Shay was very sad and so we went to the beach and sat on a blanket in the sand and shared some pizza & ice cream. I think getting out made both of us feel a little better...
Thank you Deb for taking all the time that you did to help us through all this with Shayley's little girl...you are an angel.
