How many more precious Americans are going to loose their lives in Iraq, isn't it high time that the Iraq government take responsability of governing and manning it's own military and take over what it should be doing.
I have copied and pasted the below paragraph from the AP Press report from my yahoo of today,

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki told parliament Monday that Iraqi forces are not ready to defend the country without U.S. help despite what he termed major improvements in security in Baghdad since the American troop buildup began this year.

To the above quote I ask, "WHY NOT?"

I wanted to emphasize a statement that I made in my post so I have high lighted it in red.

Many times I have gone up to someone in uniform given hugs to them to take back to the others, and thanked them for serving in our armed forces. We also frequently send care packages to our troops in Iraq.
How many years have we been in Iraq?????? Why aren't the Iraqi's military ready to take over in their country, when will they ever be military ready??????

Pea496 I totally agree in your reply which you posted, let's finish over there and get out as fast as we can. This needs to be done ASAP.
