We have had some fabulous Yorkie meetups here in California. The number one most useful idea was bringing several wired exercise pens and linking them together as a huge play area for the babies. This kept them confined to one area and SAFE. They all played beautifully together, with not one fight amongst them. Works great, especially in a park environment. Here is a picture from one of our meetups in a park.... there was actually a little cafe there that served us food while we watched the babies play; was the BEST day!
