Oh my gosh, Poor little guy. I dont know much about this but according to the others seems to be normal. I just will keep an eye on your male to make sure everything is ok. I saw a couple of years ago in "The Real World" MTV show when the dog was humping a stuff animal and his thingy was sticking out and large for a long time after humping, They call the vet and the vet told them to sprinkle sugar on it. And that work, his little thingy went back to normal.
I know that is Nature.
