Ellie had her bile acid test and they took the blood from her jugular vein. I know this is common practice but just read something about it being dangerous, especially for small animals. I know that noone here likes the idea of anything stuck into a Yorkie's neck but balance that with the fact that that is where they get a good sample from. What do you all think? Should I insist that they do it in the leg next time (maybe resulting in a small sample)?
