I haven't had that problem because sawyer weighs 4 1/2 pounds. What i have been shocked at is how many yorkie experts there are out there. They seem to know all the quirks about yorkies, and even if your dog is not demonstrating any of those traits at the time; the so called experts just know that your well behaved little dog is a yapping, ankle biting, neurotic little animal predispossed to all kinds of health problems. I read everything I could get my hands on for the two years before I got my baby. I talked to breeders, went to dog shows, and talked to any yorkie owner I could find; and I still am finding new things about this wonderful breed everyday. I read yorkie talk daily, and have found out so much I hadn't known before. I guess all these experts are just not interested in the true breed, just the hype.
