Kids ask questions to learn! I have no problem with answering good manor children, when they ask me questions about my Yorkies. I also have twin boys who are six and they are so gentle but they were taught since little to respect

My own children are very protective of there dogs, they tell the other children that no one is allowed to pet or pick them up, because they are to tiny...It really is cute to see them so protective
I think that it's the parents fault on how the children react to the animals
Even though I have my own children I get upset with children that just grab at my babies. My children always ask permission to even walk up to a dog and let me tell you they are big time dog lovers, all shapes and sizes
Also I always say my furbabies bite, just because children don't no any better and I wouldn't trust any child unless he has been raised or educated on this delicate breed..JMO..
