If you don't want to be a lit match between two sticks of dynamite I'd stay as far away from this as possible....this is a no win situation, especially if you value your job.....
If they do mention something stay neutral...Sorry to hear that...It must be difficult for you all....I hope things work out for everyone....etc....etc...
