So We Never Forget That Day

I was on the phone with my buyers lender and told to come in to sign papers in a half hr. if possible. I'm looking at the tv and I thought this was live but I thought it was an old news break from some earlier date. I'm in a hurry to get ready and realize that one of the twin towers has been hit and I'm still not able to run the data in my mind so it made sense, then the second tower and then I was sure I knew what was happening.

No planes were to be flying and there was one in the air when I got out of my car when I reached my appt. but men who were outside said it was an army plane. When I got in the owners father was in the first tower that morning and they were trying to get to him by phone. (they did reach him and he was alright)

It was a day we should never forget and taught us just how vulnerable we are.
