We all have to weigh risks to benefits when it comes to these things ...each of us is going to have to make a judgment call for our own pets welfare....most things carry a risk, how much your willing to take is up to each individual....this was just shown this morning on GMA...

Just because the FDA approves something in no way does it imply it's safe...the FDA has a terrible track record for approving drugs that where later pulled from the market after killing or injuring people, so just going by their recommendations is unreliable...there has to be an unbiased party for reliable info when it comes to doing studies on safety...Quite frequently the people in charge of passing approval have a financial interest in getting these things on the market...
