So, my husband went running yesterday morning and came home with a guinea pig!!! Someone had left Sam(yes, we named him/her) at the lake where hubby runs, in a shoe box! David felt so bad for Sam that he brought him/her home. We are keeping Sam in the garage, b/c I don't want to bring him/her in if there is something wrong, which I am imaging there might be. We are not keeping Sam and just trying to find a good home for him/her. Can you believe someone would just leave this poor animal out!
Any advice on how to care for Sam in the meantime??
