Have you contacted the breeder to see if anyone else in the litter was also sick and to tell her how sick your baby has been? Maximus caught kennel cough from the vets about 2 weeks after I got him...1 vet said collapsed trachea and the pther said kennel cough...turns out he got a shot (penicilin)..a cough suppresant and a antibiotic (think amoxicillan)...10 days later he was all better and no more cough...maybe see a new vet and get a second opinion...Maximus' hacking got better at about 5-6 days into the medicine. If you need the names of the anitbiotics the vet gave me..pm me and I will sned the info if you want to pass it by the vet!! |
