That is so inconsiderate .... makes you really wonder ... you want to do nice things, yet people do not reciprocate in kind.
At least YOU know you did the right thing ...
maybe www.freecycle.com would be better for you??? You can offer things and people come by and get it. You are still altruistic and you can see the happiness you give others.
I feel so bad for you ... and shame on the people who did not do the 'right' thing ... Hugs to you
