Thank you for bringing this up. A family member just called to tell me about an article in the Washington Post (Associated Press) about this. I was trying to defend their use. I have been doing research tonight about the issue. I agree that many more animals are saved by this device than hurt. More testing MUST be done to make them safer, but we don't need to scare people away from using these devices. The research I've seen has only been on rats and mice.
