That is what happened to Baby. We thought she was totally out of heat and it was to soon. She lost a lot of blood. That is why the vet kept her 3 extra days. He put her on soft food (which I still give her a little in the morning) and called everyday to report on her even though I called every morning and evening.
I gave her a little soft food as a special treat for her supper tonight since she can't have anything now until everything is said and done.
