Bought that book and can't wait to get it. It should help me figure all this out. As far as I'm concerned kibble is just not an option. I have done alot of research on what crap goes into it and thought for a brief moment that if I bought premium that they might be ok. But the recent rumors about Canidea have just thrown me over the edge. So now I really have no choice than to buckle down and get this homecooking properly figured out!

I am so glad you're getting your answers.

After you get the book, let me know what you thought of it? I have learned a lot just reading this thread, and I'm thinking about switching to home cooking completely myself.
