I started out using baby shampoo on Reagan without conditioner and quickly found out that it works much much better with conditioner. Then I switched to a paul mitchell product from humans that I didn't like for myself. It never dried out her skin. Then I switched to a redken human product and LOVED the results, again no dry skin. I also tried MOP human products and also LOVED the results also this was the first that seemed to help with her mats, but it could've also just been her coat changing. I have heard from many that as long as you are using a good human product its fine but like Lisa I have also heard about the ph. I finally, however, broke down and tried a dog product, plush puppy. I'm happy with the results but honestly not any more so than when I was using some of the human products. I haven't tried the CC products yet and am waiting until I finish the plush puppy then will.
