Should I just leave her be and figure she'll eat when she's hungry? Or do you add anything to her food to make it more appetizing? What about the other 2 flavours of Canidae?
Once when she had an upset belly and the runs I mixed her food with plain white rice (she loved it). And a couple of times I've minced a raw baby carrot and mixed it into her food (that helped too).
Only once as a puppy I saw her display signs of hypoglycemia (sp?) and I got out the corn syrup. Since then, no signs.....just somedays she eats, some days she picks at her food.
I'm not overly concerned, just curious if there is anything anyone recommends to make her meals a little more tasty for her. |
Dogs are much smarter than people realize, and they also know what's good for them and what isn't.
I doubt you would ever have to coax her to eat real food.

You should try it!
