toby is going to go through it in two weeks (and so will i i guess....lol....) why are they keeping him overnight?????...... the vet i go to is a clinic, but when i have taken my dogs to the normal vet and they wanted to keep them overnight, i always asked if someone was going to be sitting by his cage watching them.....and if not, then they arent going to get the "observation" that they are intitially staying for and it is much better if they come home because they will be comfortable, secure, and watched 24-7...... this is just my take on the situation, it seems when they keep them for observation they never really "observe" they just leave or walk by the cage..... (if they have an iv drip or somethign to stabalize them i can understand the overnight stay, but i am very wary of vets that like to "get more money")..... im sure you trust your vet and that it is a matter of safety, but to all those newbies on teh site, be a little careful of who you choose as youre vetrinarian..... not a vets are equal!!!!!!! |
