Nutrical or Nutristat is a high calorie / vitamin-mineral diet supplement. Sometimes a pup will become a very picky, or not at all eater. These products keep their blood sugar up. Should they have an attack, they will become sleepy, stumble, gums and tongue pale and listness. If they continue in this state, it could lead to a coma and death. A lot of people use Kayro syrup, or a little honey in the water. I used Nutristat when Maggie was very little. She was not a good eater. Good thing she grew out of that.
