If everyone who wanted a dog took the time to research the breed as you have, we wouldn't have the problem we have today at our shelters. Thank you for taking the time to know exactly what you were getting into.

I agree with you 100 percent on the need for breeders who charge in the thousands of dollars to offer good health guarantees.

I went the other direction. I paid $800 total for two Yorkies and didn't get health guarantees. One is now 11 and one is 3 with no genetic defects.

But they are definitely fragile. I'm always worried about them.
