I was in school when we got our Yorkie 2 years ago. We put her in a wire pen that could hold a x-large dog. We stuck a peepad in the back and had a water bottle hanging on the side. I alos would cover her cage when it was bed time and her rest time. She always felt secure that way. I would even leave the radio on so she wouldn't feel lonely.
