Tia has been on Canidae All Life Stages for months now. She seems to be a finicky eater. She has only ever known "dog" food (we don't want her to beg at our table). She seems to go on hunger strikes, not eating very much. We go for a walk every day (and to the dog park at least 2-3 times per week) so I want to makes sure she's eating enough to fule her active body.

Should I just leave her be and figure she'll eat when she's hungry? Or do you add anything to her food to make it more appetizing? What about the other 2 flavours of Canidae?

Once when she had an upset belly and the runs I mixed her food with plain white rice (she loved it). And a couple of times I've minced a raw baby carrot and mixed it into her food (that helped too).

Only once as a puppy I saw her display signs of hypoglycemia (sp?) and I got out the corn syrup. Since then, no signs.....just somedays she eats, some days she picks at her food.

I'm not overly concerned, just curious if there is anything anyone recommends to make her meals a little more tasty for her.
