where I can find out information on what happened, etc on the day you were born?

I need this for my daughter, who will be needing to use it for research coming up.

I remember YEARS ago, you could get a print off of a "headline" of the year or day you were born. You know, the price of milk, a house, a car, what the fashion was, what made the news, etc.

Does anyone know of a good site or place that will have this information for her?
