Here--this will make you feel better...when I go to work, I have to leave Max and Abbie for about 8 hours . And I work too far to come home for lunch to take them out. I HATE doing it but I have to go to work and I live alone and my family lives on the other side of PA so there's no one to help out. I use an exercise pen and enclosed in an area for them so they are not crated for such a long period of time. They each have access to their crate with a fluffy bed, another big fluffy bed in the area, and a big leather chair so they can look out the window. Oh-and their food and water, of course. They tolerate my absence well...
she used to have separation issues, but not any more.... i've just never left her for THIS length of time.. usually it is like 3 hours when we go out to eat or something... and i knwo that this girl does not sleepp.. lol.. she sits on the stairs and waits.... lol... but as long as you guys don't think it is too long to leave her... i feel better
